Mom Parts KAP Lab:
Befriending The Inner Critic

When moms begin exploring their parts, they often notice the more visible ones first — the Angry, Anxious, Guilty protectors. But the Inner Critic is almost always present underneath, quietly shaping the experience of every other part. It amplifies fears, drives shame spirals, and keeps the whole system on edge.

Through didactic and experiential time, you'll learn how to support clients in befriending their Inner Critic and how to apply a low-dose KAP (ketamine-assisted psychotherapy) framework to your practice.

Shame

Moms become deeply identified with protectors that are all are invested in staying as far away as possible from shame. Our whole system is organized around not feeling humiliation, worthlessness, and the contraction of pain that accompanies the belief that something is fundamentally wrong with us. Burying shame doesn't make it go away. It keeps our parts on high alert and cuts us off from our softness and vitality.

In this 3-hour Mom Parts KAP Lab, we'll use the medicine space to slow the system down and turn toward shame and to witness the mistaken beliefs it's holding. Come prepared to go somewhere your protectors usually won't let you.
