Mom Parts Sessions

Mom Parts Sessions are 50 minute individual sessions that lean into the five steps of the Mom Parts Method. Together we will map out your inner system and give you more clarity about how to care for yourself on the road ahead. You can use a single session like a tarot card reading where you get a glimpse of your internal structure from an interesting new perspective. Or you can use these sessions in a deeply therapeutic way to plunge into the depths of your protectors and your vulnerability and do the powerful work of unburdening and healing your Mom Parts.  

 

You're normal. Angry parts, sad parts, guilty parts, anxious parts and all.

There’s space for you and for your child to coexist inside your psychology. There's a way for you to be connected and also separate. You can be a good mom and acknowledge the grief and shame that are here. It starts with developing the capacity to listen and engage with your own experience, not just your kid’s. It starts with mothering yourself.​

How Does It Work?

Mom Parts Sessions are one-on-one meetings with Jessica. In these sessions Jessica will guide you to:

  • Identify your Mom Parts protectors

  • Discover the Truth that your protectors need you to hear

  • Open your heart to the Grief or Shame that needs more attention (moms never have space for this)

  • Uncover and tap into the Remedies of Self-energy that exist within you

Why do moms need to work with our Mom Parts?

We aren’t as selfless as they said we should be. We don’t have all the answers, and we get freaking tired. We do an awful lot of good mom stuff, but our own tank feels pretty empty much of the time, and honestly, we have a longing for things that exists out there in the wild, outside the box of motherhood. Our longing and resentment make us feel like bad moms. And we can't be honest about that. So, we keep it to ourselves. Swallow it down. Muscle through. Grin and bear it. Hold our shit together.

Being a mom is super important to us, and we work hard at it, but…we don’t always feel very happy.  

​

Mom Parts Sessions give moms a way of better understanding themselves. When you form a relationship with the parts of you that feel distress, you become empowered to help yourself feel better in direct and immediate ways. While there is a shit ton that is outside of your control in momlife, there are some key areas where you do have the power to make a dramatic impact on your own wellbeing.
