Exploring Grief in Motherhood
Motherhood means encountering grief. Our culture doesn't make space or provide care for mothers to grieve - which means our hurt stays locked up inside. In this session, we’ll explore how grief is medicine, and collectively begin to hold more space together for our many losses.
Our Topic-Based Groups are designed to explore specific, meaningful themes within motherhood. Each session centers on a distinct topic, such as matrescence, the impact of patriarchy on motherhood, grief, shame, or the dynamics of Mom Parts, allowing us to dive deeper into the nuances of that experience.
Every gathering is led by a different Mothercentered Certified Facilitator, each bringing her own expertise, passion, and perspective to the conversation. Through guided discussion, gentle parts work, and supportive group dialogue, we explore these themes with depth and care, learning not only from the facilitator, but from one another.
